چکیده

In this paper, Cryptography and Steganography techniques are combined to enhance the security level of data communication over an unsafe distributed network. The standard LSB(Least Significant Bit) steganography method is also modified by digitally signing a information of starting position of hided message in image, so that any other third person can’t determine the position of beginning of hided message in the image. Here, first digital signature of the secret message is created using RSA algorithm so that identity of receiver is verified at receiving end. Then this signed message is hided inside an image using steganography so that message is not visible in transit to any third person. Also we have applied data integrity check at receiver side so that receiver can check whether message is modified in transit or not. Keywords— Cryptography, Digital Signature, Data Integrity, LSB technique, Steganography.

CAMAC: a context-aware mandatory access control model

Mandatory access control models have traditionally been employed as a robust security mechanism in multilevel security environments such as military domains. In traditional mandatory models, the security classes associated with entities are context-insensitive. However, context-sensitivity of security classes and flexibility of access control mechanisms may be required especially in pervasive c...

Multilevel Security and Quality of Protection

Constraining how information may flow within a system is at the heart of many protection mechanisms and many security policies have direct interpretations in terms of information flow and multilevel security style controls. However, while conceptually simple, multilevel security controls have been difficult to achieve in practice. In this paper we explore how the traditional assurance measures ...

An introduction to multilevel secure relational database management systems

Multilevel Security (MLS) is a capability that allows information with different classifications to be available in an information system, with users having different security clearances and authorizations, while preventing users from accessing information for which they are not cleared or authorized. It is a security policy that has grown out of research and development efforts funded mostly b...

On attribute-based usage control policy ratification for cooperative computing context

In an open information systems paradigm, real-time context-awareness is vital for the success of cooperation, therefore dynamic security attributes of partners should considered in coalition for avoiding security conflicts. Furthermore, the cross-boundary asset sharing activities and risks associated to loss of governance call for a continuous regulation of partners’ behavior, paying attention ...

A multilevel security model for a distributed object-oriented system

multilevel security, information flow, object model It often suggested that distributed computing will be the major trend in computer systems during the next decade. However, distributed systems are vulnerable to a number of security attacks. In this paper we look at the security problems of object-based distributed systems, and propose a model based on labeling for multilevel security. The pur...
